The room we ended up with had four bedrooms, but getting there took some arguing. In our first room, the bathroom door had no latch and wouldn't stay closed. When we asked to switch, they offered a small two-bedroom room for three grown men. The place was also incredibly dirty, with rubbish scattered around the room and corridors, including a lot of trash and old fruit under the beds. The shower never got warm enough, and there was no soap. I'm not fussy, but for what this hotel costs compared with nearby places, you can get better quality for less.

We'd trusted a taxi driver who recommended Khang Phu, and regretted it as soon as we saw the room. It was much older than the photos, small, dirty, and musty. We didn't think it was worth 450k vnd. After about one or two hours, we felt so uncomfortable that we wanted to check out and were willing to pay. The hotel assistant first asked for 250k for that short stay, and we agreed. But just as we got into the taxi, he came out and demanded the full 450k instead. My friend couldn't breathe after being in the room for a while, so we had to leave, even though we'd have to pay for it. We paid the full amount as they asked, but it felt like being cheated. We've been to Da nang many times, and this was the first time we'd faced a situation like this. There are many better options there. Never coming back!

During Covid-19, they cut back on staff and started offering long-term stays for around 100 USD a month. The rooms are quite old, but for the low price they're OK. It's especially nice that the hotel is close to the beach and very quiet. Generally, a good option.
