Bear Hotel & Homestay 2

It’s a peaceful homestay, and the beach is very close. The staff were cheerful and helpful, and quick to sort out anything that needed fixing. I love staying here.

We only spent one night here, which was enough. There was mold in the bathroom, the drainage was awful, and after a five-minute shower the whole floor flooded. It took around 10 minutes to push the water toward the drain, and there was no hot water. We also found small insects on the bed. I managed to photograph one, but there were more. The noise from the bar next door was significant, so I wouldn’t recommend this place if a good night’s sleep matters to you. The receptionist didn’t speak any English. She photographed our passports four separate times and even wrinkled them, which was frustrating and felt unprofessional. I’ve stayed in much better places in Vietnam for less than 600,000 VND, so this was even more disappointing.

An inexpensive homestay with a clean room and enthusiastic staff.
