The location was good and the Wi-Fi worked. Everything else made for a terrible stay at Seacolor BeachStay. The room smelled intensely of mold and mildew, and the walls were visibly damp, which made the place feel dirty and unsafe. Hot water was inadequate for a proper shower, and the beds were so uncomfortable they felt like piles of rubble. The front desk clerk was pleasant, but that kindness couldn't cover up how run-down the property was. A smile is the least they owe you when the accommodation is this poor. I strongly warn anyone considering it to stay far away. It failed on every hospitality measure I can think of.

I stayed for eight nights, and it was a terrible experience. The whole hallway and room smelled moldy all the time and were dirty. They said housekeeping came every day, but I never saw anyone clean my room unless I asked. They only took out the trash and changed the towels. After a couple of days I got sick and couldn't stop coughing, which I blamed on the very dirty pillow. I couldn't believe how dirty it was under the cover! The one good thing was that the front desk staff changed the pillow right away when I told them. The hotel has a high score on another booking site, but don't believe it.

The room was deeply unhygienic. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, insects in the room, and heavy layers of dirt behind and beneath the bed, inside the furniture, and in the wardrobe. It looked as though only the surfaces in plain sight had been cleaned. I became extremely distressed and unwell because of the conditions. I contacted reception, but nobody came until 3 a.m. The next day I tried to leave at noon and waited hours for someone to show up. When the receptionist finally arrived, they said Agoda would handle a refund, but nothing has been refunded. This was the worst accommodation experience of my life, and the room felt unsafe and completely unacceptable. I paid for a service I did not receive, and I am formally asking for a full refund to be handled urgently.

The only real plus was being about a seven-minute walk from the beach. I paid extra for a seaside-view room and got a street view instead, which felt like false advertising. The bedding smelled as if it hadn't been washed for a couple of days, and the restroom had mold. The walls are thin, so street traffic carries through. I could also hear neighbors slamming the door, whose handle doesn't turn properly from outside.
