I booked two nights and arrived around 11 in the morning, left my luggage, then came back at 2 for check-in. The woman at the desk showed me a very small room that wasn't the one I'd booked. When I checked the sheets, they were dirty. I raised it with her, and she said the previous guest had decided to stay longer. They offered another room, but it smelled very musty. I was glad I didn't have to stay there. Think twice.

The host was warm and helpful, ready to arrange transport or tours and share restaurant advice. There was a good mix of guests from around the world, which gave the place a nice feel. My room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Bikes were available, though walking to the old town was easy too. I stayed last year, in 2023, and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Kate and Thuy speak English fluently, and they and their family made us feel very welcome with their warmth and willingness to help. We also enjoyed the affordable motorcycle rental, whether for a day or longer. The swimming pool was a great place to relax. This charming small Homestay is in a safe, peaceful neighborhood, and the modern rooms were immaculate. It's the best place to stay in Hoi An, and one of our favorite experiences across our many visits to Vietnam.

It was calm, clean, and quiet, and the host family did a lot to look after what I needed. The pool was clean, and the kitchen was neat and tidy too. I wish I'd stayed longer.

The old quarter is an easy walk away, and the area and hotel are both quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are free bicycles, for a ride to the beach, for example. After staying at several hotels in Hoi An over many years, I found Horizon and kept coming back. The rooms are large, clean, and nice, and the swimming pool is clean too.
