Bliss Luxury Hotel

It's just off the main road, so the hotel is very quiet, even though restaurants, shops, a mall, the beach and 24-hour convenience stores are all a short walk away. The rooms were very clean, including the towels and linen, which smelled fresh. The beds were genuinely comfortable, with proper mattresses rather than pads. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is included with a stay, or costs 100k if you're not staying there.

Breakfast was decent, but the rest was a really bad experience. The sheets were dirty and stained, and they even charge around 600K VND for cleaning. The rooms are too noisy and not soundproof, so it's hard to sleep. The location isn't good for visiting the city's tourist spots, and the reception staff couldn't communicate well in English or understand what customers needed. Don't book this hotel.

The location and breakfast were okay, but otherwise I'd avoid this place. We were assigned the hotel through a tour package and wish the tour company had kept Sea Garden Hotel as its only option, since that has much better service and room quality. Construction noise from the neighboring building was everywhere when we arrived. The pillows smelled sweaty, so we asked to have them changed. The woman who came argued that all the laundry was from the same load and was very rude instead of simply honoring the request. She finally changed them after about five minutes of back and forth. That was the first red flag. After that, we didn't trust the staff and left the do not disturb sign up. They cleaned the room anyway, ignoring it. Thankfully nothing was stolen, but still. The hot water in the bathroom sometimes didn't work, which wasn't entirely their fault. The bathroom's design and cleanliness were: I've never seen worse black mold, and with no shower curtain, everything got wet when we showered.

The room smelled strongly of acid when we opened the door, apparently from dampness. It was so severe that the sheets and even the toilet paper felt damp. The place was generally poorly cleaned, and the building work seemed poor too. The photos look nothing like what we found. It was dirty and disgusting.
