Blue River Motel

A good hotel.

The room itself was terrible: the lock was loose and broken, the bathroom smelled, the sheets hadn't been changed, and there was no toilet paper or clothes hangers. I was quoted 350k for two weekdays and 400k for the fireworks night, but at check-in they demanded 500k. I'd booked the dates and received a price, but when I arrived the owner hadn't recorded it and said we should find somewhere else so her other guests could stay. She then said she couldn't hold the room because I hadn't paid a deposit. When booking, I had specifically asked whether one was needed and was told no, just pay on arrival. She said she'd forgotten. It felt like she was trying to raise the price and cause trouble.

Linh was the best part of our stay. The place was fairly peaceful, the rooms were spacious, and Linh gave us fantastic recommendations. The excursion to Myson was good too. But cleanliness matters most to us, and they need to pay more attention to it, so I can only give three stars. Thanks for everything.

Helpful staff, reasonable prices, and a quiet neighborhood.
