The location made getting around easy, with the Old Town walkable and the night markets only a minute away. There’s a pizza place across the street. I think the homestay can provide food too, though we didn’t try it. Our room was clean, comfortable, and good for the price, with everything working. We were given a larger room with a balcony at no extra charge because it was available. The woman at reception was lovely and always ready to help, and the other staff were just as friendly. When we asked about onward travel, she offered to book our bus, and one morning she arranged our laundry after seeing us carrying it. We had a great stay and I’d recommend it.

The rooms aren’t luxurious, but they were clean and right for the price. The owner was quick to help with whatever we needed, and even served us breakfast while the ground floor was flooded. During the flood, she also helped us out, offered to cook for us, and arranged and paid for a boat when we left. Our laundry was done quickly and came back clean. I don’t understand the negative comments about service. We were welcomed so warmly, and the owner was incredibly helpful, honestly the nicest lady. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

The location was convenient for walking to the city center, and there’s great pizza across the street. My room was very clean and high standard, and they upgraded me for free because a better room was available. When I had food poisoning, the staff were super helpful and gave me ginger tea and soup at no charge.

The good location was about the only positive. My room smelled strongly of sewage, felt small for what it cost, and had the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on.

They were very accommodating and flexible, and the airport taxi pickup was a nice bonus at a good price. I highly recommend it.
