Cloudy Homestay was my favourite room in Vietnam so far, with a lovely room and a fantastic balcony. The owners were attentive and helpful, and sent me a long list of suggestions for Hoi An. They were also happy to answer my questions. It’s about a ten-minute walk from the old town centre. You can take a Grab to A Bang beach in around 12 minutes, or cycle there on one of the provided bikes. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend booking here.

Everything we needed was at this clean homestay, and the staff spoke good English. We were able to add another night at short notice. Bikes are free to use, and we’d definitely recommend staying here :)

A great place to stay in hoi an. The hosts are lovely, quick to respond, and happy to share recommendations. After two months in hostels, the room felt like a bit of luxury.

The hosts were friendly and had some great suggestions. I followed a recommendation for a tailor shop and was really happy with what they made for me. We also had free bicycles, great for riding out to the rice fields, and mopeds were available to rent. The location made it easy to walk to the old town, but it was far enough away to stay quiet, so we slept peacefully on comfortable beds. The room was very clean and had loads of space, including a huge balcony area. It had everything we needed and felt like home. They also offered to clean during our stay. Laundry cost 30k VND per kg, which seemed cheap, and it came back smelling amazing.

The owner really cares about how it feels to stay here, beyond just the amenities. The homestay is about 1 km from the Old Town and has free bicycles. My room was spacious, spotless, and had a floor-to-ceiling window. The owner even left me a little note for my next trip in Hue 💗💗. For me, this is the best homestay in Hoi An. The three best rooms are Tom, Jerry and sky.
