The room with a window was a much better choice. During my two-night stay I spent one night in that room and one in a windowless one, which had a slightly musty smell and didn’t seem well ventilated. For the price, though, the place is good value. The setup is managed remotely, and replies to questions on messenger were quite slow, which got frustrating. One night I started showering and found only cold water. I hadn’t been told about the separate hot water switch, so I only learned about it afterward. A simple guide in the room would help. Good value overall, but I’d avoid the windowless room and be prepared to wait for a response.

The apartment’s location is great, and the view is amazing, especially from a higher floor. There’s a bathtub too. The kitchen is handy, but please leave cups and utensils there. Those matter even more than plates. Because this is a private lodging, there’s no front desk and you have to handle locking up and everything else yourself. The cleaning staff don’t speak English. It may work well for Vietnamese guests, but getting communication started was a struggle for us. I asked through Agoda before check-in and got no reply. I was in a pinch, so I asked someone at the hotel in Hue where I’d stayed earlier to call, get the property’s LINE ID, and add them. That finally got us talking. In Vietnam, hotels and shops often use LINE or WhatsApp QR codes. Japanese guests may be more used to contacting a hotel through the booking site or email, but replies there can be incredibly slow. Since there’s no front desk here, real-time communication is essential. Agoda should make it easier to provide guests with the LINE and WhatsApp QR codes.

I loved the place ☺️ The bed was comfortable, and the room had a projector, a small kitchen, and a refrigerator. The hot water was great too. Really enjoyed everything!

There are lots of local restaurants nearby, and the room comes with a nice projector.
