I loved visiting in December, when it was quieter and there weren’t many guests. The place sits on the edge of town, so it felt peaceful while still being an easy walk to everything. The hosts did so much to make things comfortable and simple for me. When my curling iron broke, they bought a replacement in Da Nang and brought it over. I also left an AirPod behind at checkout, and they arranged to get it transported to Da Nang. They also arranged airport transfers and offered laundry service. Breakfast was available too, and I ate there a few times. I was super happy with my stay and would highly recommend it.

When we tried to check in this evening, we were told Agoda had canceled our reservation, even though I had a receipt showing it was paid. They said I’d have to pay them directly to stay, so I left. The person at the desk was very nice, but the landlord wasn’t.

The hotel was clean and quiet, with big clean rooms, a nice little pool, and very courteous people. It’s in a great spot, just a five-minute walk from the loud, busy part of the old town, so you can explore or take a lantern boat ride down the road without having to stay in all the noise and hustle. There’s a restaurant right next door with fresh organic food made to order, and meals were 500,000d, about $2-3. Restaurants are available too, and the hotel has an on-site Grab driver you can call. The staff speak some English, and laundry and motorcycle rental are available. I liked the hotel enough to extend my visit so I could see more of town.

It’s within walking distance of the ancient city of Hoi An, which is a great location. But construction next door meant unbelievable noise every day around 6 a.m.

We’re a family of four and the room suited us well, with two big double beds. The host was very helpful, and laundry is available at the hotel. It’s a few minutes’ walk from the main market and shops, but quiet in the mornings and at night, which was perfect.
