Everything was clean, and breakfast offered a great variety of dishes. The location was convenient too, within walking distance of the beach and near Dragon Bridge. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we said we were from Japan, a front desk staff member told us he grew up watching Japanese anime like Doraemon, which made us really happy.

We were a family group of 10: two sets of parents and children in two sets of connecting rooms, plus a separate room for the grandparents. The hotel is tidy and modern, the rooms were clean, and daily service was adequate. The showers and bath were incredible. Breakfast was nice, with a good range for a small buffet. The rooms are much too small for families. We couldn’t leave suitcases open, and there was nowhere to hang clothes or set luggage down, such as a stand or bench. The minibar fridge was tiny and tucked into a cupboard. The rooftop views are incredible, but it’s on the 17th floor and the lift only reaches the 15th, so everyone needs to manage the stairs. The gym is very small, really only suited to one person at a time. The bar was closed every night we went for a drink except one. After we had a single drink that time, the lights were switched off and an impatient staff member made her point clear, which was disappointing. The restaurant was closed when we wanted dinner, but we could walk about 15 minutes to the night markets to eat. I’d recommend this hotel to couples who have time and flexibility, but families may want to look elsewhere.

The customer service from HA was kind and helpful, and they clearly cared about guests’ experience. The location is pretty good too. A short walk gets you to the basic things you need for your stay.

I spent a week here and thought it was amazing value for the price. The pool was quiet every day. The beach is within walking distance, and from the front balcony you can see Dragon Bridge.
