We booked a room for a few hours after arriving on a night bus, before checking into our next hotel, and it was a huge mistake. We didn't end up using the room. The first one was filthy, with stained towels, dirty beds, and live and dead cockroaches everywhere. The second room we were shown was just as bad. No refund was offered, and the swimming pool was green, too. If cleanliness matters to you, stay away.

The staff really made this place for me. Everyone, from the night watchmen to the manager, seemed to take real satisfaction in making guests happy. I've had some of my best service anywhere on my travels here, better than some five-star resorts. DK's is a budget hotel, but the rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and there was a sparkling pool, plus a simple breakfast. It's at the edge of the historic district, so you can walk where you need to go. They also have bicycles, scooters, and all kinds of tours. Even with a bigger budget, you'd have a hard time finding somewhere better.

The staff were really sweet, but the hotel itself is very old. Our room had ants all over and other people's hair throughout. It was gross and nowhere near worth the price.

The staff were the highlight, such great people and service. I'd stay again. It's around a 10-minute walk from the centre, and while the facilities could use some improvement, they do the job for the price. Free breakfast and a pool are nice extras.

A lovely building with a cozy feel, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. For what we paid, it was amazing value. Highly recommend!
