Dreamy Beach Boutique Hotel

We'd paid in full and booked six months ahead. As the date approached, we contacted them to ask about renting bikes, and they told us our booking WOULD be canceled because they wanted to prioritize guests staying for a whole month. It was holiday season, and we were desperate. We didn't have time to deal with a last-minute surprise like that. What made it worse was the salesman's response. There was no apology, as if canceling a customer's reservation for such an irresponsible reason was perfectly fine. They hadn't even planned to tell us. We only found out because we took the initiative to call. I don't recommend this place. Worst service.

The photos must be years old, because this isn't what the place looks like now. I changed rooms when the AC didn't work and the floor was dirty, but the next room was even worse, with hair and dust everywhere, mold, a strong moldy smell, ants in the bed, and mold inside the fridge. I woke up coughing during the night and checked out the next morning. I barely got an apology, and the owner basically admitted the room hadn't been cleaned. He still wanted to charge me the full amount. Horrible experience, stay away!

We had a really pleasant stay. The hotel is very nice, and the staff are fairly friendly. The beach is just a five-minute walk away, with plenty of food and other services nearby.

We were so uncomfortable that we left before our reservation ended. There was a moldy smell, plus cockroaches and mosquitoes in the room. The bed felt hard as a rock, and we could hear neighbors screaming from the street all night.
