Grand Holiday Villa

We had a really pleasant stay apart from the pool. The room worked very well for three of us, with a lovely modern interior, a little balcony, and a roomy bathroom. Everything in the room worked properly. Staff weren’t around most of the time, but they were helpful enough over WhatsApp, so that was fine. The pool was disappointing. There are only one or two loungers, and tall walls and buildings block much of the sun. There’s barely anywhere to sit nearby because the area is fenced and walled off. I’m still not sure what the ladder is for.

There are plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby, and the beach and busy old town are an easy bike ride away. The location worked really well for me. I had a fun, friendly week here, and my room was clean and comfortable.

Our three-bed room had loads of space, and the staff were lovely and accommodating. They also have free bikes, which made it quick to get into the town centre. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The people at reception were a big part of what made this place so good. The sister and brother there were kind, easy to talk to, and helped arrange laundry at a great price, shuttle transport, and excursions. I felt relaxed and happy here, and the nightly room rate was surprisingly low for the quality. The room felt like a little apartment, with a desk, a table, and a small balcony. It was tucked under the eaves, with lovely blue decor and a warm feel. The beds were very comfortable, clean, and changed daily. The bathroom was spotless and well stocked, and the shower was relaxing, with hot water whenever I wanted it. It’s in a busy area just north of the Old Town, which I could reach on foot in about 15 minutes. There are loads of good bars and restaurants close by.
