The rooms are good and the location is excellent, but the hotel’s administration and guest care were very poor. Before arriving, I emailed and called reception 15 times to get confirmation and some specific information, and got no reply. When I raised it after arriving, all I got was, “Oh, we will see.” During my stay they seemed more focused on getting payment upfront for every extra than on understanding guests’ needs and comfort. At checkout, reception didn’t issue me a bill either. Strange. I’d avoid this hotel.

The rooftop infinity pool has great views of the mountains, ocean, and city. It’s only about a five-minute walk to the sand, on a fairly quiet street, and even at 10 p.m. I had to try to hear any noise. Reception staff speak excellent English and always make you feel welcome. For the price, the room was really nice, modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great TV. Vy, Anh, Ngan, and Zoey look after breakfast. Special thanks to Vy and Anh, who made my morning coffees with a warm smile. Enjoy!

Everything is within walking distance, the beach, bars, restaurants, spas, and shops. Our room was clean, and the staff were nice. They made up the room and changed the towels every day. Check-in time is strict, though, because they’re always fully booked.

The carpeted room may be a problem for anyone with dust allergies, so I’d ask about a non-carpeted room when booking. It looked nice at first, but several practical details felt unsafe or poorly thought through. There’s no bathroom outlet for the hair dryer, the poor drainage left the floor dangerously slippery, and the kettle didn’t switch off automatically. It stayed dangerously hot until all the water boiled away. The staff were nice, but breakfast was disappointing. In Vietnam, even street food is amazing, so it’s a shame the meals here were such low quality for travellers. Maybe it’s a reason to go out to eat instead. The whole place felt like it put price ahead of quality and left guests carrying the safety burden. That was a letdown.
