We booked a room by calling the number from Google Maps and paid a 100,000 VND deposit to hold it. Two days later, when we got to Hoi An, the owner said there was no room because of heavy rain. I’m sure they sold it to someone else for more. At 6pm we had to wander around looking for somewhere else to stay. The owner was very rude and the service was terrible. Too bad. Stay away. 👍

We found two rooms here at the last minute after an unpleasant stay elsewhere in Hoi An, and had a very positive experience. Our rooms were on the same floor, and the outdoor table and chairs were handy for evening games. We could arrange tours or travel easily through the owner, and check-in was early. The host was helpful, the rooms were super clean, the beds were comfy, and we got fresh fluffy white towels and complimentary water every day. There are lots of great cafes, spas, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The Lantern Lady is just around the corner, which made my daughters very happy. We’d happily stay again.

The rooms were clean, like others we saw in Hoi An, but so noisy that getting proper rest was almost impossible. The service was awful. We’d agreed on a laundry price beforehand, but they charged us seven times that amount. The owner said it was priced per kilogram, which we believe was a lie since nobody pays 12€ to wash clothes. We tried to explain that the charge was abusive, but she went crazy. We paid to avoid a conflict. There were also plenty of rats in the backyard. Look for another option and you’ll be happier.

The neighborhood is very quiet, right in the heart of the old town and close to 3 dragons bar. I watched AFL football over the weekend, and the coffee shop across the road, 33, has tasty, healthy food. A lovely family runs the place and also has a clothes store downstairs, where I had a suit made in about 20 hours. The owner kept jokingly trying to sell me one more shirt. One disappointment was the street food seller about 100m across the road, who serves Pho bo style meals in the evening and charges locals and tourists different prices.
