Hoang Sa Hotel

The breakfast was barely a choice, just bread with butter and an omelette, which felt especially poor for the price. Getting help was difficult too, since reception staff kept changing every two hours and there was no consistency in the answers. The room itself was filthy. Dust and dirt were all around, ants were crawling over surfaces, and mold and fungus showed on the walls and ceiling. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want a clean, comfortable place.

I booked through MMT, and the room was awful. Ants and other insects were everywhere. When I raised it with staff, they just told me to manage. Breakfast was bread, butter, and poor quality fruit, which was a joke. If you're Indian, I'd avoid this place. For the same price, you can book a better hotel near the beach with a proper breakfast.

There’s no room service or food available, and there isn’t even a lobby restroom for people waiting to check in. They’ll charge for early check-in even if you only want to use the restroom. The location wasn’t great for sightseeing either. It’s at least a 1.5 km walk each way to the beach or dragon bridge. Breakfast for two was a joke, as you can see in the photo. People coming from India might want to skip this and look across from the beach, where the same price gets you a much better hotel.

The room smelled like pee after they moved us to a deluxe one. Some lights were missing, the lighting was bad, and the first room had been in terrible shape with a leaking AC. In the middle of the night they started burning mosquito repellent, setting off all the smoke alarms. The room phones didn't work when we tried to call reception either. I don't recommend this place.
