Hoi An Delicacy Hotel & Spa

It’s only a 10-minute walk to the old town, so the location is great. My wife and I stayed two nights at Hotel Delicacy and really enjoyed it. Our pool-view room was beautiful and tastefully decorated. We had lunch there one day, and it was good quality and good value. Breakfast was very nice too, with several freshly cooked options. Every staff member we met was polite and professional, and made us feel welcome. I’d happily book again if I return to Hoi An, and would recommend it.

The pool and bar area had a really relaxing feel, and breakfast came with a great choice each morning. Housekeeping was excellent: they cleaned daily and even called to check if we wanted the room cleaned, no matter what time it was. We appreciated that. We upgraded to the Premium Pool View room, and it was absolutely worth it. Spacious, spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hospitality felt impeccable. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had. A huge thank you to the whole team at Hoian Delicacy Hotel.

The room was clean and the staff were nice, and housekeeping did a good job. We stayed six nights. They missed refilling the water once. On the first night, someone from the staff called our room at 6am, which really disrupted my sleep. My partner also lost sleep when the elevator beeped overnight one night, and it happened again. They fixed it and moved us to a quieter corner room for the rest of our stay, which was nice. The breakfasts over the last few days were poor: stale food, small flies, black bits on the fruit and in the ice, and very dry sushi and bread. The hotel should review breakfast and how it’s prepared so the food is fresher. It’s far below what I’d expect from a four-star hotel. It was okay overall, but not four-star quality for the price. I’ve had better service and food.

The room was spacious, tidy and had everything we needed, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. When we checked in, the staff welcomed us with cold towels and drinks, a nice refreshment after being outside. They were informative and friendly. We’d definitely come back when we return to Hoi An.
