We spent four nights here and absolutely loved our stay. The woman hosting us was lovely, and breakfast was included and really good. Everything in the room was very clean, with cold air conditioning, good internet, a window with a view, a small balcony, hot water, and a bike to use. It's close enough to the town center, too. For a budget stay, this is probably the best place we've found so far in Vietnam. Highly recommend.

A quiet spot away from the main tourist area, with friendly staff and a room that was exceptionally clean. Ours had a balcony looking out over the Main Street. There’s a popular restaurant next door serving delicious local food at local prices, with local customers too. They also leave a delivery menu and a little booklet of nearby food and drink options in the room. It's a contender for the best hotel of our trip so far. Honestly, come check it out!

The price is very reasonable for what you get, and Golden Horse Villa has been the standout accommodation on our long trip through Vietnam. We’ve been welcomed everywhere we stayed or ate, so that’s saying something. The staff here are especially friendly and helpful. It’s about a five-minute taxi ride to Hoi An Old Town by the river, An Bang, and Cue Dai beaches. In the surrounding area there are plenty of good restaurants, plus dentists, optometrists, doctors, and hospitals. Closer by, you can walk to a lake, Tiger market, a chemist, hairdressers, nail and beauty salons, coffee shops, and street food stalls. Across the road are four mini marts with food, drinks, and other supplies, as well as a fruit market. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, with cable TV, a mini fridge, toiletries, and showers with plenty of hot water. There’s also a clean pool, and towels are provided. I can’t recommend Golden Horse Villa enough. Excellent!

Everything was great here. The family is lovely, cheerful, and very helpful. The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and there’s a pleasant pool. Free bikes get you to the old town in five minutes. Best hotel experience in Southeast Asia!

We booked three nights and are still here, after extending our stay again. The room is spacious and clean, the air conditioning works well, the beds are nice, and the people are friendly. We’re here with our 18-month-old daughter, and they’re really sweet with her. The pool stays shaded, which might be the best part, and there are free bikes too. A must go, and I don’t say that very often.
