Hoi An Heart Lodge

The rooms were beautiful, clean, and cozy, with great AC, which matters so much in the Vietnam summer. Matt, the owner, and his family were wonderful and took care of everything we needed. Their English is great, and they were easy to talk with. They also shared helpful advice about local attractions and restaurants. We've been to lots of places in southeast Asia, but nowhere has matched how well we were looked after here. From the minute we arrived, they treated us like family. They really live up to the heart in the Heart Lodge.

Matthew is such a friendly owner, and his family is lovely and kind. His cousin Lani gave us great tips for our time in Hoi An. We checked out long before our late flight to the United States, but Matthew let us leave our bags, have tea, and even take another shower at no extra cost. The room was clean, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the AC nice and cold. There's free WiFi too. Highly recommend staying here!

For budget travellers, this homestay is a great choice, with really lovely people. Just don't expect a five-star experience. The place and room were clean and tidy, and the room was a good size with all the amenities and a balcony. It's close to Hoi An ancient city and other local attractions. The people here are amazing and friendly. There's fast internet on every floor, and they have a small lift to take your luggage upstairs.

We spent two weeks at Hoi An Heart Lodge and had a spacious, comfortable room with a lovely balcony where we liked to sit and relax. Breakfast came with the stay, with several delicious choices. There's a nice pool to cool off in, though we didn't get the chance to use it. It's close to Old Town, but far enough from the busy, noisy parts to feel peaceful. The best part was the owner Mat and his team. They were kind, helpful, and always nice to chat with. Mat also runs a very nice restaurant by the river in Old Town that's definitely worth a visit. We highly recommend this homestay.
