Avoid staying here. The host overbooked us and sent us to another place, which was fine, but then kept pressuring us to pay and stay a second night. Airbnb had canceled that second night because of her mistake, while we had paid for the first night through the app in full. She repeatedly stopped us in the street, demanded to see our conversation with Airbnb support, came to the new homestay, and harassed us there. She wouldn’t let us leave, even with our luggage, and kept following us around the new homestay. I showed her the Airbnb refund, which was for one night only, and she took a picture of the receipt from my phone. She still demanded cash. I told her many times to contact Airbnb support, since I couldn’t help her sort out her side of it. We paid Airbnb, but she kept harassing us in person and on WhatsApp. The location is great and walkable, but there are plenty of other homestays if you want to avoid the stress. If you’re willing to risk the hassle, it’s up to you. In her reply she again said we paid for two nights in the Airbnb app and that one night was refunded, which is what the receipt showed. You can look at my million other reviews; I’m honest about where I go and what I experience. Check my credit if you want. I wrote this myself, and don’t need AI to tell the truth. Also, don’t say rude things to me in Vietnamese thinking I won’t understand.

The price was very reasonable, and the reception staff were lovely. They also offer free bikes to use for the day. I had a great time at the homestay and would definitely come back.

The location was amazing, and everyone at the homestay was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. Laundry and taxi services were very reasonably priced. We did have a couple of downsides: our room by the stairwell was noisy, with hallway guests and people praying at a nearby temple waking us up. There was barely enough floor space in the standard double room for our suitcases. Even so, the people there made this our favourite stay in Vietnam, and I’d recommend it.

The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the clean, comfortable rooms and decent breakfast made for a good stay. It’s very close to the old town, yet far enough away from excessive lights and nighttime noise. Absolutely recommended!

We had our laundry done at the homestay for 30k/kg. You might pay less elsewhere in the city, but we liked the service, the smell, and having it returned to our room. They also helped arrange a taxi, though make sure you compare prices in advance. The family were kind and helpful, and the location was perfect, just a two minute walk from the night market. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, we already miss them! Thanks for making our stay so good. We highly recommend this homestay.
