Hoianation Villas Hotel

The room is large and clean, but it looks really cheap, and the TV is too small. I've never seen an elevator this small before. Service was bad too. I asked for laundry, but they couldn't do it. They still took my dirty clothes and kept them without telling me, until I asked the next day. All I got was an apology. I won't come back.

A nice area and a great place for the money. This is a lovely little hotel in Hoi An, with spacious, clean rooms and an amazing shower. The staff are very friendly and can speak and understand English. Bikes are available for the 5-10 minute ride into town.

We spent a lovely week at Hoianation. The pool and free bikes were great, and breakfast was a delicious way to start each morning. Our room was roomy and the WiFi was fast. Everyone on staff was so friendly and helpful.

Louis, the owner, was incredibly kind, spoke English, and was there whenever I needed him, even outside work hours when we reached him on WhatsApp. He arranged transport both ways for less than taxis cost, and when someone tried to overcharge me for leaving my bike, I checked with him and he told me the right price and not to let them do that. I was having trouble with my pocket WiFi because I didn't have a Vietnam phone number, and he even came back to the hotel to help since I didn't know who else to ask. When I realized I'd sent all my socks with the laundry, he made sure it was back the next morning after breakfast. There's no washer or dryer on site, but they can wash clothes for a low fee per item. My first trip to Hoi An was memorable thanks to the amazing customer service. Hoianation villa hotel is a real gem, clean and away from the bustle. We had breakfast included, but if you don't, it's only 35,000d (about 1.52usd) for breakfast and a drink. The rooms were clean, with modern rain showers, air conditioning, and a nice bathtub. There are free bikes, first come first serve, and a beautiful pool. I'd definitely recommend it.
