Lucky Bee Homestay

We stayed almost a week and left feeling like friends. Nga and Moon were so welcoming and looked after us, even helping with our visa. They also pointed us toward lovely places, events, and food in Da Nang. The room, bathroom, and kitchen were all really clean. We had such a good time and I’m sure I’ll come back.

After an hour of insisting that our stay was valid, they finally told us the place no longer existed. Apparently “lucky bee” is only kept on Airbnb to preserve its old reviews. The bed was rock hard and the bathroom tiny. I know it’s budget Vietnam, but do yourself a favour.

Nga is lovely and ready to help with whatever you need. The private room was good quality and very cheap, and there’s a pool table to pass the time. It is quite a way from town, though the number 5 bus costs only 5000 vnd.

The staff were friendly and sociable, and the hotel itself was fine. But construction started at 7am and was so loud we couldn’t sleep. When we showed the staff the leak in our ceiling, they said we must have knocked over our water bottle and insisted the ceiling was fine.
