Mint Airport Hotel by Haviland - Self Checkin

My flight out of Da Nang was unexpectedly delayed, so I booked this place at the last minute to rest near the airport. It turned out much better than I expected. The room was spotless, the price was very reasonable, and the location was extremely convenient. Trang at the front desk was warm and attentive and made everything easy. It was only a short stay, but it left a strong impression. I’d happily stay again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, well-run place in Da Nang.

The airport location is handy if you need to stay nearby. But don’t trust the room photos: we booked a balcony room and didn’t get one. Light came through the glass panels in the main door and the window, keeping us awake. The ventilation banged all night, and once the neighbouring rooms woke up, we could hear everything. We ran out of toilet paper, which was already dwindling, and the hot water didn’t work until morning. It was also hard to find the receptionist.

The staff were always friendly and ready to help, and the room was spacious, clean, and had the amenities I needed. The location was convenient for popular attractions and restaurants, and breakfast was tasty with a good range of choices. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back and recommend it to friends.

The room was genuinely spacious, both the bedroom and bathroom, and everything was clean. It felt like much better value than several supposed star hotels near the beach. Staff and location were also a 10/10 for us, and the room size gets the same rating. Ms. Trang at reception deserves a special mention. She arranged our late checkout and kept our many bags safe after we had checked out. Though she couldn’t be there late at night, she still checked in on us, then adjusted to our schedule the next day so we could enjoy Da Nang. We loved staying at Mint and wish we’d added more nights. I’d book it again without a second thought.
