Monalisa Apartment

The rooftop is nice, the bed's comfy, and the wifi is strong. Reception could smile a bit more, though 😃. The studio needs better ventilation because of the mould. I'd stay again if that was taken care of.

The room was clean, pleasant, and roomy, but it felt like a cave. There were no windows at all, even in the one-bedroom suite, and my boyfriend said it was like a prison. The single-bed room had no window either. We liked the little puppy in the lobby, but the service was really poor. They wouldn't let us leave our luggage overnight because of our travel plans, which wasn't helpful. I wouldn't come back or recommend it.

I spent a month here and liked having a big room with both a bathroom and a separate laundry room. The staff were helpful and nice, and they cleaned the room and changed the sheets every day. I could keep my road bike in the room and still had space to move around. It's a short walk to the beach, but book well ahead because Monalisa fills up fast.

I've lived in the building for two years, and I love my apartment. It's in a convenient spot, and having friends over to use the rooftop pool is great. The street has changed a lot since I moved in. The staff are welcoming and helpful. My main annoyance has been the door alarms: they go off unless each door is pushed fully shut, so there can be a lot of noise when tourists stay in nearby rooms. I also appreciate the separate laundry room with a dryer, especially for washing bedding and towels. The exercise equipment seems like a joke, and I've never tried the sauna.
