Nam Hai Hoi an Villa

The spa was the highlight for us. Each treatment took place in a private villa overlooking a peaceful lotus pond, and it was deeply relaxing. We were celebrating my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, and the Four Seasons team made them feel cared for from the moment we checked in. Our beachfront villa was compact, but private and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished, and felt safe and serene. My parents also really enjoyed the activities, including lantern making and cooking classes. Four Seasons The Nam Hai made our time in Hanoi unforgettable.

The resort is beautiful, with striking architecture, impressive facilities, and an exceptional setting. But our arrival left us disappointed. We're UAE residents and returning Four Seasons guests, with stays at properties in Ubud and Sharm El Sheikh, so we expected the service and coordination to match the brand. We wanted a cocktail at the resort. At the main hall, one receptionist said the bar had closed at 10:30 PM, while another told us it was still open. We also got conflicting answers about the buggy. First we were told, “Apologies sir, all employees have already finished work,” then a buggy was arranged a few minutes later. The buggy itself wasn't the issue. The mixed messages and lack of preparation were. Some team members seemed insufficiently trained and not fully prepared to welcome international guests familiar with Four Seasons standards. For a brand with this reputation, the first interactions should feel smooth, polished, and reliable.

The private beach is serene, and getting between Danang and Hoi An by shuttle is very convenient, so it's easy to enjoy both places. Every staff member provided impeccable service. The food was glorious and authentic, and fairly priced for this level of luxury. A beautiful hotel.

We'd stayed at Four Seasons before, in different parts of the world, but these three nights and four days at Four Seasons Nam Hai were the most moving and memorable. The facilities, atmosphere, and food were all perfect, and leaving was genuinely hard after such thoughtful care from the welcome to the goodbye. There had been an issue with our room assignment during the reservation process. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but Marco, Director of Guest Experience, still did everything he could to help and turned a possible problem into an even better stay. His kindness felt sincere, and I especially remember how genuinely concerned he seemed about our happiness. Of all the staff we've met at Four Seasons properties, he impressed me the most. Afterwards we spent three more nights at InterContinental, but its service and unique charm just didn't compare. Thank you for making the stay unforgettable.
