Nearby construction made sleeping difficult, and the AC barely worked. The bed sheets were visibly dirty at check-in, and the replacements were still stained. They refused to refund me even though I sent them all the evidence. This was one of the worst experiences I've had. If you care about a bit of peace and your hard-earned money, stay somewhere else. It wasn't worth the hassle.

The room service staff were the one bright spot. The women were real pros and tried their best, so thanks to them. The hotel itself looks good in photos, but felt cramped in person: it's small, and the rooms are tiny. It's far from everything, with no cafes or shops nearby, so you'll need a bike or taxi to get food and water. It feels like a village, with roosters at 4am, stray cats, drunk Vietnamese people, karaoke and other noise. Construction was happening right below our balcony, with more noise from the rooftop. The glass door didn't block sound, so two people couldn't take calls at once. There were no spoons, microwave, or tea cups. It's just a hotel room, not a serviced apartment. Staff told us to go buy whatever we needed ourselves. Great.

The hotel and its amenities are lovely, but there's so much noise right now. Construction is going on, with noisy chickens, a bird across the road that keeps making noise, and dogs barking loudly every night at 2am. It seems like the building work could continue for a while, so I won't come back until it's finished.

The hotel had a lot going for it, but noise and the way complaints were handled spoiled the stay. We reported several nights of disrupted sleep to the front desk. They offered a move to a higher floor, but nothing came of it. When we followed up two days later, they said an early checkout wouldn't qualify for a refund on the remaining nights. Instead they offered a lower-floor room and a free minibar. We stayed through the final two nights and left as soon as we could. The guests above us were never even told about our complaints, and there was no real follow-through. That's what disappointed me most. The building next door was under construction, with drilling and hammering starting as early as 7am, even on Sundays. The guests above us dragged furniture and made loud banging noises into the early hours, sometimes until 3am. There were a few nearby private karaoke sessions, though those ended by 10pm. The residential area was otherwise relatively quiet, without noisy bars, clubs, or restaurants, and you'd usually only hear the occasional rooster, dog, or kids playing. There were plenty of good things in the room: a huge, very comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities comparable to a 4 or 5-star hotel. They refilled bottled water daily, and provided a minibar, slippers, a bathrobe (though only one), shower gel, shampoo, a razor, and a dental kit. The cleaning was excellent, and we could schedule it during their cleaning hours. The building was new, with modern, stylish floors and furniture made from what seemed like good materials. There was no mold, insects, or damp feeling. It started out feeling like it could easily earn five stars. If you get lucky with the neighbors and construction isn't happening, it might be fantastic. After our experience, though, we wouldn't return.
