I felt unwanted from the start. The short woman at the counter seemed to want me out as soon as I arrived, asking every day if I was leaving tomorrow and when I’d go. On check-out day she kept calling through the interphone while I was just leaving my room. I asked if she was happy I was leaving. She also told me I couldn’t use the downstairs kitchen, even though the taller, friendly woman had said I could. The women cleaning the room broke my external hard drive, and recovering the data cost several hundred dollars. People outside my room began putting their shoes inside, then shut the door in my face and started locking it after seeing me. This place did not feel welcoming to foreigners at all.
