The woman at reception wasn’t friendly, but otherwise the stay was good.

With the new owner, I found the room inexpensive, clean, and pleasantly fresh-smelling. I’d booked a room with a window through the app, but when I arrived they switched me to one with a window for ventilation 😍 The staff were gentle and enthusiastic, and I was very satisfied.

The room smelled strongly of damp, especially the bathroom, and the floor was so dirty that even wiping it with toilet paper would have been awful. Mold and mildew were everywhere, and tiny insects crawled around and got onto our things. The soundproofing was terrible too, I could hear the neighbors using the bathroom. People smoked in the shared hallway. We also lost power, though that was due to renovations throughout the street, not the hotel. The bed was king-size but made from two mattresses that kept sliding apart and leaving a gap. Its sheet was too small to cover the whole mattress. We were given three tiny 10x10 hand towels; after asking for proper bath towels, they managed to find just one in the entire hotel within an hour, though there were two of us. The staff were rude. They started shouting and making excuses without even understanding our question. There was good hot water pressure, the air conditioning worked, and toiletries were provided. Fortunately, we stayed only two nights. It seemed like a place for couples to stay one night, with a men's sauna nearby. I wouldn't recommend booking here.

Parking was a real hassle. Although the hotel says it has a parking lot, we had to leave the car on the street or sidewalk. If another car blocked us, reception didn’t know how to reach its owner or where to find them, so we had to wait or track them down ourselves. When a guest left early at night and blocked our car, we had to move theirs because the hotel had no staff to do it. The building is old and run-down, and the rooms are dusty. It felt a lot like a couples’ motel; I happened to see two or three couples coming and going at different times while using the elevator. Staff were unfriendly and unenthusiastic.
