If you’re after nightlife, this probably isn’t the place. We found it ideal for a comfortable, quiet break with a lovely family running the homestay. The beach is nearby, and you can borrow bicycles for free, so the distance from town didn’t bother us. The rooms were clean and modern, the people were warm and helpful, and this was the loveliest stay of our whole Vietnam trip. I still think about it.

We planned on two nights and ended up staying five. The pool was a lovely place to cool off in the heat, and breakfast was tasty. I especially liked the muesli, and they also offered several local breakfast dishes that weren’t on the menu. There’s a coffee bar where you can make your own coffee and pay what you like. The staff were so friendly that we felt at home. The rooms and bathrooms have been completely renovated and feel modern. It’s about five minutes by bike to the beach and 15 minutes to town. We sometimes took a Grab, the Vietnamese equivalent of Uber, which cost around 45K Dong. Walking into town may not suit everyone. We had a great time and recommend staying at least two nights to relax and enjoy Hoi An.

We came here to get away from a terrible room we’d been given in Historic Town, and were glad we did. The garden is lovely, and there are comfortable places to sit on the lawn, beside the pool, or upstairs on the terrace. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was fabulous. We could walk to the beach in about the same time it took to bike down the road to the bakery. There’s a convenience store directly across the road and a delicious restaurant next to it. Some downstairs rooms were being renovated, but we didn’t hear any noise. The WiFi wasn’t perfect, though we’d happily stay here again.

Even though my stay was brief, I felt very comfortable here. The room was tidy and clean, and the staff were kind and spoke good English, which made my trip more enjoyable. It’s a little away from the old town, around 7-8 minutes by car, but that also makes the atmosphere quieter and more peaceful. One thing to note: the location shown on Google Maps is wrong. The address is 101 Cua Dai Street, Cam Chau, Hoi An, Vietnam.
