Silk River Hoi An Retreat

The staff made us feel welcome the whole time, always attentive and happy to help with requests. We also really enjoyed the pool as a place to unwind. Our room was clean, comfortable, and kept in good shape, and breakfast had plenty of choices for different tastes and dietary needs. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.

We especially appreciated how easy the arrival was. The team spent around 10 to 15 minutes explaining the hotel and suggesting tailors, activities, and places to go, which made settling in much simpler than anywhere else we stayed. They were friendly throughout, and speaking English was easy, which helped us as visitors from New Zealand. The room was comfortable after long days, with a huge bed and a big shower. We also liked the cool, clean pool, and the spa massages were fantastic and affordable. Breakfast had lots to choose from and the food was consistently good. They arranged a motorbike for us, and the free bicycles were useful too. The river ride or walk into the old town and markets was easy. It all felt welcoming and straightforward, and we’d happily come back to Silk River Hoi An Hotel & Spa.

The staff were the best part, always smiling, friendly, and ready to help. Breakfast was our favorite in Vietnam, with lots of choices for different tastes, and even crispy bacon. The pool was lovely and very clean. Our room was spotless, with coffee-making facilities and a mini fridge stocked with beer and soft drinks at reasonable prices. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower stayed hot with strong pressure. We had a nice river view from the balcony, and the hotel itself was beautiful and peaceful. It’s only a short walk or cycle into the busier part of town, and the bicycles are free. We had a wonderful three-night stay and would come back to Hoi An.

Our spacious, comfortable room worked very well for the family, and the location made it easy to reach Hoi An’s attractions while still feeling calm.
