Its appeal is simpler: things are neat, and there’s a basic sense of peace. The name "Phuc Lam" (Forest of Blessings) doesn’t mean you’ll find a natural oasis here. It’s more of a practical stopover, a place to put down the weariness of the trip and quietly sort out plans for tomorrow. The room isn’t a marvel, just a clean, functional private space that helps you settle down. People come for peaceful sleep and something dependable, not excitement or luxury. When you leave, what stays with you is an appreciation for these honest, humble stopping places that every journey needs.

The landlady was hostile throughout. She swore at guests for being out late and accused them of keeping the owner and hotel staff awake.
