Ponte Boutique Villa

We liked it enough to come back for another three days after our first three-day stay, before heading to hoi an. The rooms were well priced, clean and comfortable, and the staff are really nice and helpful. The beach is close, there are good dinner restaurants across the road, and a supermarket about 100m away. I plan to stay here again.

Everything went smoothly, and the staff at the front desk were the best. They arranged what we needed and gave us helpful advice. The bed was clean and really comfortable, and right across the street there’s a restaurant serving the best baby octopus I’ve ever had. An absolutely perfect hotel.

The counter staff were the one good part. One of them seemed genuinely nice, while the other felt forced. I booked based on all the positive reviews, but unfortunately I can’t share them. The room was cleaned in a rushed, incomplete way. Some staff had a negative attitude toward my Asian partner. The walls were insanely thin, and I slept very badly. The doors were partly see-through, with light coming through at night, and at 7am staff were yelling in the hallway and woke us up. What dropped it from three stars to two was the checkout charge for water from the fridge, which was tiny. Nobody had told us it cost extra, and there was nothing written anywhere about a charge. It wasn’t expensive, it’s just water, but that’s not how you do it.

I booked this nice hotel spontaneously on Booking.com for one night. The rooms are new and furnished in a modern style, and the staff were super friendly. I didn’t have time to use the pool, but it looked great. There are several restaurants and shops right nearby.
