We booked and paid for a deluxe junior suite with a balcony and sea view at the Ronal hotel, also called Richico luxury apartments. Instead, we got a family apartment with dirty floors and walls, broken floor tiles, and a tiny balcony where even one person barely fit. Friends travelling with us had a similar room problem. The location was the one good thing. With so many hotels in Da Nang, I don’t understand how this place has 5 Star reviews. That’s why we booked it.

The hotel is right on the first line, with a pool, sauna, and exercise machines. Beach loungers cost extra, and there aren’t any beach towels. We picked the Standard room for the price and did regret it a little, though that’s probably nitpicking since we have other places to compare it with.
