Roxana River Villa

The staff were so friendly and attentive, and seemed to know what we needed before we asked. Daily cleaning was impeccable, and we made good use of the complimentary bicycles. They even had umbrellas ready in case it rained. Our room was spacious and looked over the river, where the floating lanterns made the evenings feel magical. Somehow, there weren’t any mosquitoes despite being right by the water. Breakfast was delicious too. We’re very glad we picked this hotel and would sincerely recommend staying here.

A car booked through Grab may be sent down a narrow alley beside a bridge, which can confuse the driver. Some cars can squeeze through and others can’t. It’s an easy walk to the bridge for pickup, though, so it wasn’t a big problem. The location worked really well for us, close enough to walk to the old town but far enough away from the traffic. The hotel was quiet, and I slept well every night. Whenever we got back, the staff greeted us warmly. I can’t think of a better place to stay here :)

We spent five days here just relaxing, and the river view from our nicely appointed Villa Suite was lovely. The staff surprised me with a birthday cake, which made my celebration feel complete. I really appreciated how thoughtful they were. The suite felt quite luxurious to us, especially the huge soaking tub. We’re used to living on a 30m yacht, so that was saying something. I highly recommend this hotel.

My first trip to Vietnam, and this was my favourite stop. I liked it so much in Hoian that I extended my stay, and the hotel found room for me. It’s peaceful by the river but still an easy walk to the Hoian old town. The staff were amazing and made me feel very welcome. I’ll be sad to leave, and I hope I can come back.
