Sanouva Danang Hotel

This was the last stop on my trip through Central Vietnam, and it was full of memorable experiences, emotions and coincidences. I stayed 3-4 days, learned a lot about the area and the city, and came away appreciating Da Nang even more. The hotel seems popular and sits near plenty of spas, restaurants and coffee shops. Some nearby places have better prices or tastier food, so you'll have to try them yourself 😉 It looks elegant and luxurious from the outside and offers fantastic value for the price. The guests seemed to have good taste and were generally polite. I don't eat much, but I really appreciated the atmosphere and aesthetics. There was construction on site or nearby, so some dust and noise were unavoidable. The hotel's strongest point is its food service quality control, with customer service close behind. I won't get into the details of my situation, since it wasn't the hotel's fault but an issue caused elsewhere in another city. Van, the General Manager, and her team deserve thanks. Reception took matters into their own hands and resolved it quickly and efficiently, with professionalism and care. I ordered food and drinks separately, in addition to the breakfast buffet and afternoon tea. Strangely, I seemed to enjoy the complimentary offerings even more 😄, though I mainly wanted to support the catering team. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices and some dishes changing each day. The ingredients were always fresh and high quality, prepared with care, and everything tasted just right. Just before I left, a strong wind swept through and cleared the dust from the air. It had been extremely hot in Central Vietnam for several weeks, and rain finally came on the day I left the city. By chance, I also got to see the annual fireworks display the night before ❤️

The bright room had a good view, and the waterfall shower was super relaxing. The cleaning staff seemed cheerful and motivated. Breakfast was excellent, with bread, butter, cheese, bacon and sausages, plus a station for different eggs and omelettes. There were also daily changing rice and noodle dishes, curry, and a booth with fresh hot soup. There's something for European and Asian tastes alike. It was a great choice for our family trip.

We spent 3 nights here and loved it. The hotel was comfortable, the rooms were huge, and I have no complaints. We got a complimentary 30 min massage, choosing head, neck and shoulders, though it was more like head, neck and back, which was great. Breakfast had lots of choice, mostly Vietnamese food, but we only ate it once. There are plenty of local restaurants and cafes nearby for breakfast or other meals. The location was good for us, with local options and spots closer by, rather than the more touristy streets farther east. The pool was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures. It's not big enough for laps, but fine for sitting and relaxing.

Lua deserves a special thank you for being kind, professional and warm. She was always attentive and helpful, made us feel valued, and made the stay memorable. The whole staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a genuine smile. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and the rooms were spotless, modern and comfortable, with an excellent bed and careful upkeep. The hotel is in the heart of Da Nang, with restaurants, cafés and shops within walking distance. The beach and other attractions are only minutes away. The clean pool was a relaxing spot to unwind after exploring. I had a wonderful stay at Sanouva Hotel Da Nang and highly recommend it. The comfort, central location and excellent service made this a memorable experience. I'd definitely come back.
