The hotel itself is good, but there are a few real problems. The breakfast wasn't good, and the hot water only lasted about five minutes, enough for one person to shower. I think the heater may have a low capacity. There were also many Chinese guests, and the noise went on until early morning.

It’s in a lovely spot right by a beautiful beach, but the service was very poor. The room wasn't cleaned promptly, and even after housekeeping came, the sheets and towels were left dirty and the toilet hadn't been cleaned. The air conditioner smelled like rotten eggs when switched on. For the price, you get what you pay for, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Being right across from Da Nang Beach was a big plus, and I appreciated the clean rooms and daily housekeeping. The air conditioner and TV remotes didn’t work properly, though, and the pillows smelled unpleasant. The lobby was full of people smoking, so as a non-smoker I couldn’t sit there long without getting a headache. Breakfast was free and good, but the buffet repeated the same food each day. I especially liked the yogurt. If you’re on a budget, maybe consider it, though I’m not sure I’d recommend staying.

I paid through agoda when I booked, but at check-in they took another 200 000 vnd in cash, saying it was for Chinese New Year. I love and respect Vietnam and the Vietnamese people, but I felt the pregnant woman at reception was scamming me. Many shops charge 25% extra over TET, while seafront charged me 70% more. Scammers are bad people.

The famous my khe beach is an easy walk from here. It’s a great place to stay for the location, and you can get to other tourist spots by grab.
