The rooms are huge, and we got lucky with an upgrade to a room with two Double beds. The staff spoke English very well, and card payment was available. Breakfast was good too, with fruit, banana pancakes, toast and jam, and eggs. The beach is just a two-minute walk away. Shops nearby have whatever you might need, while the restaurant areas are about a 40-minute walk if you don’t have a motorbike.

It’s a classic-looking building in a quiet spot, right across from the beach. The ladies on staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included, and they put real effort into it. It isn’t a full English breakfast or anything, but it’s better than what many places offer. The rooms were clean, the Wi-Fi strong, and the aircon worked great. I loved the solid bath tubs. A great option if you want easy access to both Hoi An town and the beach.

We thought we’d stay one night and ended up here for a week. The room was amazing, with great aircon and a modern bathroom, and it was cleaned every day while we were at the beach, just a one-minute walk across the road. The owner, her son, and her husband were all gorgeous. Couldn’t recommend it more. Pearl and Tauran

The upstairs rooms with balconies are really good. They have two doors, with shutters you can close and glass you can open for sea sounds and fresh air while keeping the shutters latched. My family room had two double beds, and I think it’s worth paying extra for. The cheaper downstairs rooms are suited to a young couple near reception. The location is perfect, right across from the beach. We got a wonderful welcome and caring help with anything we needed, no problem.

Sunsea is an authentic Vietnamese family-owned hostel. The owner was helpful, gave us good recommendations, arranged a message in the room for us, and helped with bus bookings. They have breakfast and bikes for rent. It’s close to a non-touristy beach and coconut village.
