Seagull Nest Hoi An Beach Village

The bed was unbelievably comfortable. After three weeks of travelling with a bad back, I finally got a proper night's sleep, which matters so much when you're on the road. The nightly rate is low enough that you could afford to live here! I also found a back specialist up the road. For under £10, the treatment included acupuncture, heat, and massage, and it was amazing. If my back acts up again, I'll leave the UK and move into the seagulls nest. It's near a quiet little nomad beach and close to Hoi A town, around £2.50 by Grab to town.

The owner is lovely, and Milo from Seagulls walked me past a feisty little black dog down the road and vouched for me. The place is generally good, but a few things could be better. I stayed for two weeks. It was quiet at first, then other guests came and doors started banging late at night. People didn't seem to think about others, and staff should keep a closer eye on that. I also had to change my own bed linen. That was okay until I asked to extend my stay and was quoted a higher price because it was high season. I'd happily pay more if the service went up too. The cleaner came daily but only did the floors and bathroom. There was no soap, water, or tea and coffee in the room, so bring your own soap. Breakfast was basic.

The owners really care about how your stay goes, and I noticed they knew everyone's names, which made it easy to build a connection. I had a small injury and the owner was quick to help, so thank you for that. Milo the dog is amazing too, and will protect you from outsiders. A wonderful hotel with everything you need, including a comfortable bed, shower facilities, and a lovely atmosphere.

Anna was welcoming and helpful, and they included a great breakfast. The place has a nice swimming pool and lots of other services you can ask for, like a scooter or massage. The rooms were spacious, had AC, and were cleaned daily. Great stay near hoi an beach.
