The location was the big draw, only a 2-3 minute walk to everything, yet tucked down a street away from most of the noise. I’d probably book again when we return to Hoi An. The room was big enough and had a small balcony. I’d thought I’d booked a top floor room with a bigger one, but at £18 a night I wasn’t bothered. We skipped breakfast and the pool since there were so many places to eat. The shower worked great, no water issues. Check-in was easy, though the gentleman didn’t have enough change. We trusted him with an IOU, which he nearly forgot. He was helpful, had a book of trips we could book through them, and suggested a tailor. No hard sell, just ideas we could turn down. We booked the Memories show through him, and it was amazing.

Right next to the old town, the location was really convenient, and the hotel sits in one of the most beautiful parts of town. The staff were attentive and kind, and it felt family friendly. We found the price and quality well balanced. They offered extra activities at fabulous prices, including an amazing snorkeling and beach trip. The pool and other facilities were enjoyable too.

A clean, nicely sized room in a great spot, just steps from the busy night market and river. There’s no lift, so you’ll need to use the stairs, though staff can help with luggage. The famous Japan Bridge, shown on the 20k dong notes, is about a five-minute walk away.

At Serenity Villa, the beds were so comfortable compared with the other places we stayed. They even provide extra soft pillows that you can stack for support. Our spacious room had a great view and was cleaned every day. The staff were lovely and helpful too. Such an incredible stay, highly recommend! 😊
