Sol's Villa Hoi An

We arrived late at night and got such a lovely welcome. The room was wonderful, the bed very comfortable, and the shower was the best ever. Breakfast kept us going each morning, and the pool area was a great place to unwind with a cocktail. Everyone at Amina Lantana was wonderful and helped us figure out what we wanted to know and do while in Hoi An. A special thank you to “Sharyn”, such a kind lady!

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Everything worked perfectly, from the hot water and strong air conditioning to the full gym and great pool. The design was even better than that. I’ve stayed in many hundreds of hotels over the years, and this one really stands out. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. The staff clearly take pride in their work, and it shows in the details.

Bring earplugs. There was noise all night, from people coming and going, doors opening and closing, and maybe wind rushing through the building or the elevator. I couldn’t quite tell what caused all of it. With earplugs, you’ll be fine. The room was very nice, the service was great, and breakfast was fantastic. It’s a lovely place, and I’d happily stay again.

Breakfast was okay, with plenty of choices, but the buffet doesn’t change, so it could get a bit boring after a few days. The hotel is near local shops and a spa, and you can walk to the river and paddy fields if you want to see local life. It’s a little far from old town, though there’s a complimentary shuttle that goes there and back three times a day. Nice hotel, great staff.
