Stars Hotel

The location was good, but the toilet smell was unbearable and disgusting. Housekeeping didn't get rid of it. After three days, we asked for fresh sheets, but the replacements didn't look clean either. We were also charged an extra amount, with no receipt, for a companion who was only there for a few hours. If you find a hotel at the same price or even a little more, skip Stars Hotel. Paying the extra will save you stress.

There are plenty of great cafes and local food spots just a few minutes' walk away, and the Han River is close too. The location worked perfectly for getting to my workplace and the river. I stayed five nights in a Budget Double Room, so I expected it to be small, but it was neat and comfortable, with a big window and a great city view. With the curtains closed, the soundproofing was excellent and I slept without worrying about noise. I'll come back.

The location was good, and there was a lift. The staff didn't speak English, but they were patient with Google Translate. The room was dirty in ways that could have been avoided: the beds clearly hadn't been cleaned and had hair and stains all over, and the walls were filthy with footprints. The staff didn't clean properly.

We booked here at the last minute after another place cancelled on us, and it turned out to be a really good call. The owner was friendly and enthusiastic, and from the 6th floor we had good city views. The room was large and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. We extended our stay by 2 nights because it was such good value.
