The Happy Bird B&B

We had one of the bigger upstairs rooms with three beds. It was spacious, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The staff and service were great. There are plenty of shops and places to eat on the street, and the beach is about a minute away on foot. I’d recommend it.

Michael and Kim were wonderful hosts, full of local advice and happy to chat over morning coffee. We spent a week there and felt cared for every day, while still having plenty of space to relax. The place is a little oasis, about five minutes from the beach, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are stylish and have what you need, and the food was delicious. They’re open and friendly people with an incredible story. We’d definitely recommend it to travelers ready to explore the world.

The hosts gave us great suggestions for places nearby, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. It’s a lovely spot by the beach with a really laid-back feel. Watching the sunrise from the beach was magical, so don’t miss it.

The two women on staff were kind, polite, and respectful, and we had no complaints about the food or drinks. Breakfast was especially nice. Still, I’d stay somewhere else next time. There are at least three nearby bungalow options for the same price with better comfort. The place photographs beautifully, but we found it less comfortable than expected. There’s only a fan, no AC, and the mosquito net doesn’t cover the whole bed, so it’s pretty useless. The owners seemed more focused on checking the restaurant than talking with guests. We only saw them when they handed over the key. I also heard the male owner reprimand staff in a disrespectful way while guests were sitting about ten meters away. We were told housekeeping would come every two days, but that never happened.
