Awful experience. I booked through booking.com and planned my arrival, then the hotel messaged to say they’d overbooked. It seems to happen a lot in Vietnam. They were no help finding another place, and I’d already wasted money getting there. booking.com was poor too. They suggested another hotel that cost 10 times what I’d booked and had confirmed.

We spent three nights here. The room was clean, and they cleaned it after our second night. When we arrived, we needed to switch rooms and they helped us with that fairly well. There was water in the fridge that you could buy, and hot water was still available at 11pm. All in all, a good hotel.

The rooftop room smelled, and the view was ugly. A partition in front of the TV made it impossible to watch. There was no hand soap in the toilet, very little shower gel, and mosquitoes around. When I cancelled the rest of my booking, the owner tried to charge me more.

We booked five days ahead, but got an email one day before arrival saying they were full and we’d need to find another hotel. That’s unacceptable. We didn’t see the message until the next morning, as we were leaving our previous accommodation.

This family run hotel is clean and affordable, and you won’t find another like it in Đà Nẵng. The family are kind, attentive, and helpful. It’s very close to all the fun areas the city has to offer. The lady boss and her sons speak fluent English, which was a big help for international guests.
