The Memory Danang Boutique

The deluxe room was a highlight for us. It was huge, clean, and had a very soft, comfortable bed, plus a cute and distinctive design. Ours looked over the street and was one level above reception. We also liked the tasty breakfast, especially the healthy green drink, though seating is limited and works on a first-come basis. The hotel is conveniently near the center and within walking distance of the beach. Service could improve: some staff weren't very friendly, and one of our requests wasn't passed along. We also found small white mites in the bathroom cabinet, and the sink was clogged. I hope those issues get sorted out.

The Memory set a high bar for our time in Vietnam. The staff went out of their way to look after guests, and I felt safe in the quiet rooms. The beach is only a couple of blocks away, and breakfast each morning was delicious. I stayed longer in Da Nang and had to find another hostel because The Memory was fully booked. The next place didn't come close to the look, service, or experience here. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The location is perfect, and I was happy with the breakfast. During the day, sitting in the common area brought a glass of water right over, and there was free fruit for everyone. The staff are kind, smiling, and ready to help, and they treat dorm guests just like anyone else. I was worried by the negative dorm reviews before coming, but my stay was great. The dorm was clean, with comfortable, roomy beds and a large locker with a key for each person. There are two shared bathrooms for the mixed dorm. The shower is a bit small, but it was clean while I was there, with hot water and strong pressure, plus shampoo and shower gel. Shared spaces depend partly on the other guests, of course, and a hostel bathroom won't be like having a private one. Still, you get what you pay for. I'd definitely recommend this place, 10/10.

The coffee and breakfast were good, and the staff were cheerful and incredibly helpful ❤️. I really liked this pretty hotel, especially if you enjoy unusual details and are happy to go with them. Our room had only a curtain between it and the toilet, no door 🤭🚽, so check with the team before booking if that matters to you.
