East Sea Hotel

The location was the best part. It’s an easy walk to the beach but far enough from the crowds, with plenty of food options and coffee stalls nearby. The room was decent, though it had no view, and as other reviews say, there were lots of ants. The pool was okay for hanging out, but the gym wasn’t really a gym. There’s a local gym about a 10-minute walk away.

I stayed for five days, and the Agoda booking details were misleading. My room was smaller than indicated, there was no breakfast, and the bed sheet was stained. The pool was very small too, not like the pictures on the Booking web as Agoda. Agoda should visit the location, or it will lose its credibility.

The hotel is good value for the price, and the staff were all very nice. My room had no window, though Agoda called it an upgraded room. That’s fine unless you need a window, and it does keep the light out when you’re trying to sleep! The shower was great, with a big, very tall setup, a wand, and an oversized overhead “rain” faucet. The hotel rents decent bikes, and there’s an underground garage where you can park them overnight. It’s close to lots of restaurants, a pharmacy, salons, and convenience stores. The rooftop pool is neither big nor small. The gym is tiny: one treadmill, one upright stationary bike, and two dumbbells with 3kg, 4kg, and 5kg weights.

The rooms were okay for the price, and the pool was fine for cooling off. The location was good, and the reception girls were helpful. We decided to go to Hoi An and check out a day early, and we got a refund. Nhung and Dung is very nice.
