Village Moon Villa

The property is run by a really nice family, and our room was cleaned every day. It's on a very quiet street but still convenient, around a seven minute ride from both old town and An bang beach. There's a short walk to the main road if you're getting a taxi, but that was no issue for us. Right next door is a beautiful garden coffee place with a lotus garden.

We got so comfortable at Village Moon that we stayed nearly two weeks, and the price was great for the two of us. Vee, the owner, was lovely and welcoming. Our room had plenty of space, outdoor seating, a fridge, hot water, strong air conditioning and a comfy bed. It was cleaned immaculately each day. The quieter part of town suited us, and the position between the beach and main town made it easy to get around, then come back somewhere peaceful to rest. Cafes, restaurants, shops and gyms are close by, along with Golden Rose Spa, which we'd highly recommend for massages and nails, and an eyelash salon. Thanks so much, Vee!

I've stayed here twice, including once for a longer stay. It's lovely and quiet, and the location is excellent.

Moon is a tailor, but never pressured us to order anything. There are samples downstairs to try, and after seeing how beautiful her work was, we asked her to make a few pieces, then added quite a few more. We kept them busy in the days before Tet, and they were gracious and kind with every extra order. The homestay itself was wonderful, with a spacious room, sweet staff and a great location. We cycled everywhere on the provided bikes, to the tailor shops, cafes, restaurants and island. Downtown is close enough to reach by bike, but far enough away to stay quiet. We didn't go to the beach, though apparently it's easy to get to. The market is only a few blocks away, so we picked up fresh fruit for snacks during the day. Hoi An reminded us of Coronado, CA, where we lived for a few years.
