Win's Homestay - Hostel

The family were the best part of my stay. They were so kind, shared some fruit when I bought their deal on bottled water, and invited me to join their Tet dinner. The local food was delicious, and they saved me leftovers for breakfast because I had an early flight. I really enjoyed spending time with them. Win's mum also let me wash some clothes for free, which I appreciated so much. The place is basic, but clean, private, and spacious, exactly what I need when I'm travelling on a budget. It's a bit away from the main tourist area, about an hour's walk to the beach. That would usually be fine, but walking for hours in over 30 degree heat as an Irish person wasn't ideal. You can get a Grab or rent a bike if you're feeling brave. One of my favourite places to stay in Vietnam. If you're in Danang and want to experience real Vietnam with lovely people, go here.

The family running the place are so welcoming, sweet, and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious, in a more local part of Da Nang, with lots of good food and drinks nearby. It's a quick Grab ride to the centre or beach. My only small gripe was that the bed felt a bit hard, though it wasn't a big deal for me. Highly recommend!

A peaceful, clean place to stay in Da Nang, run by a very sweet family. I paid 230k a night for a good single room with all the amenities, which felt like a great bargain. They also rent motorbikes at cheap rates. They don't speak English, but translation apps worked well for communicating. Recommended.

I really enjoyed talking with the family who run this homestay. They were incredibly hospitable, gave us helpful food and sightseeing recommendations, and introduced us to local customs and habits. Their son was very busy, but still took several minutes to patiently and kindly explain a tricky Vietnamese pronunciation detail when I asked. Staying with them is a great experience, highly recommended.
