We're staying at the Sai Gon Dong Ha Hotel right now, and it's in disastrous shape. It badly needs renovation and is extremely dirty throughout. There are even rat droppings, which we photographed while having breakfast in the restaurant. We planned to host a large wedding here in April 2026 and book many rooms for our guests. That's definitely off now. We're leaving today.

The staff were nice and the service was great. 😉😉 Still, there were coffee or water marks on the room tables, and the fridge didn't get our beer cold enough. Each morning we had breakfast there, we also saw some trash in the restaurant.

The restaurant was a letdown: we waited ages for the food, got very small portions for a lot of money, then the waiters vanished and we had to find someone to pay. The staff were unfriendly and not accommodating during the stay, and it even rained inside the hotel, which was completely unacceptable. Poor service and poor value. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

It's across the road from a large market, and the rooms were clean with good service. I'd recommend staying here.
