Everything at the temple where my team worked was beautiful. I stayed in room 1171, and the staff were friendly. I was lucky to meet Eddy (Mr. Thanh) at reception. I couldn’t find anyone else who spoke English, and he helped with some requests. I recommend visiting, it’s very beautiful.

The pagoda complex looked magical at night, all lit up as we walked around. At the end, we couldn’t find the exit back to the shuttle bus, so we went into the hotel. The lady working there kindly called a shuttle to pick us up from the hotel instead. Thank you ms Nguyen thi van Giang 🥰

About the outside cafe "Chuông Gió": we tried a mango shake and bubble tea, and they were the worst drinks we had in vietnam. The tea tasted like the cup had been used as an ashtray. I told the waiter, but he kept looking at the computer screen and didn’t seem to care. I left the tea there. Awful.

The restaurant was huge and almost empty, with only employees around. We asked twice for two hot coffees because it was cold and we wanted something warming, but got two iced ones instead. I can’t understand how that happened. The same two songs kept playing on repeat too. An awful experience.

The room was spacious and nice, and I liked how peaceful the area was. It’s in the Bai Dinh area, though, a long way from Ninh Bình city and other attractions, so getting around is a pain. Service was standard, with plenty of room to improve. The restaurant was so-so. I ordered two different soups on two days, but they brought me the same dish both times. What a shame!!!
